the last night of our beach vacation was spent climbing around on the beautiful sand dunes at jockey's ridge state park (which i just found out is the tallest natural sand dune system in the eastern united states... pretty cool!). i took a LOT of pictures, and even though it was too overcast to see the sunset, it was still one of the most breathtaking sights i've seen. without further ado...
seriously, isn't it amazing? it was incredibly windy up there, kids were sledding down the dunes on boogie boards, kites were high in the air, and from far away the people on the dunes looked like ants. i would love to go back someday and see the sunset, i'm sure it's pretty magical. this world of ours, it never ceases to amaze me.
