well, sweet readers, the big day is finally here! i'm sitting in chicago, on the way to vancouver, for the food styling and photography workshop i signed up for over 6 months ago. the workshop starts tomorrow night, so this afternoon i'll have some time to explore on my own. i've never been to canada, but hear its just lovely in the summertime.
my saint of a mother is house-sitting and puppy-sitting for me while i'm gone, which is a huge relief. thanks mom :)
