after a long day of traveling, i finally made it to canada! i spent last night in vancouver, and will head to whistler for the workshop this afternoon. i took a little walk before getting some dinner, and this is what i saw:
isn't it amazing? i can't believe that the gorgeous mountains/forest are so close to the city limits. the little area i walked through is called harbour green park. there were so many people out and about, and everyone was so very friendly. (for example, that little self-portrait of me? a sweet girl who saw me snapping photos asked me if i wanted her to take one of me. so nice.) i had dinner at cardero's, right on the water, and it hit the spot. tons of fresh seafood and local beers, and you can't beat the views.
i am giddy with excitement to leave for whistler today, but vancouver, i sure will miss you!
